In 2008 and 2009 Hannah Pereira was BSQ’s full-time Secondary Schools Worker, spending much of her time talking to students in schools, unpacking Biblical concepts in RE and giving out Bibles. Hannah has moved on to Mozambique in 2010, so until June Steve Davies was busier than ever sharing his enthusiasm for the Bible and getting as much scripture as possible into the hands of students. Our new Director Mark Owen, with years of experience as a chappy, is well equipped and ready to go into schools all over Qld.

And if that’s not enough, the highly tech-savvy ‘Generation Y&Z’ are also getting a little more attention. Our extremely popular youth website, www.Godspeak.org.au , has undergone a total overhaul. We want to make the Bible and faith more accessible to unchurched young people through this website and we’ll be working closely with SU Qld chaplains in schools.
