Hannah Pereira is BSQ’s full-time Secondary Schools Worker. Hannah will spend much of her time talking to students in schools, unpacking Biblical concepts in RE and giving out Bibles. In 2009, we expect Hannah to engage with over 30,000 secondary school students.
And if that’s not enough, the highly tech-savvy ‘Generation Y&Z’ are also getting a little more attention. Our extremely popular youth website, www.Godspeak.org.au , has undergone a total overhaul. We want to make the Bible and faith more accessible to unchurched young people through this website and we’ll be working closely with SU Qld chaplains in schools.
So Hannah has a lot on her plate. You’ll just have to stay tuned to hear how she is going. Oh, and how you can support her work by donating for Bibles...
