Chaplaincy
Chaplains have a great opportunity to introduce people to the Bible. They can be where we can’t – right in amongst the students; befriending them, exploring life’s issues with them and helping them on a daily basis. We can support Chaplains by supplying them with Bibles and strong Biblical training and support.
So we’re partnering with SU Qld and Red Frogs to bring the Bible into the everyday lives of young people.
Queensland is facing an unprecedented mission opportunity with 600 government schools now having a chaplain on staff. The Bible Society is working very closely with Chaplains so they personally come alive to the Bible, therefore inspiring young people to consider this transforming book for themselves.
Through our partnerships with SU Qld and Red Frogs, we are continuing to build this relationship to make sure that the Bible connects with young people, establishing morals and an accurate sense of justice, but essentially to hear the gospel and get a grasp of love, mercy and identity.
One of the greatest tools in discovering God is the Bible. Chaplains help students to make that connection through trusted relationships.
