The Poverty and Justice Bible

Partnering with World Vision Australia, Bible Society is excited to announce the release of the Poverty and Justice Bible. In this unique Bible, over 2,000 passages of scripture have been highlighted defining just how strongly God feels about poverty and injustice

 The release took place at a special Breakfast in the Great Hall at Parliament House , Canberra, part of the  'Voices of Justice  09'  Micah  Challenge event  and included speeches by The Hon K Rudd, Prime Minister, and The Hon M Turnbull Leader of the Opposition, who both received copies of The Poverty & Justice Bible. Each politician who was visited during the week-long 'Voices of Justice 09' event also received a copy of the Bible.
