Bible Society International

  • Operating since 1804
  • 141 member societies with United Bible Societies, working in more than 200 countries and territories
  • Publish and distribute the Bible in over 2000 languages
  • 4 million Bibles published and distributed in communist China each year

Bible Society Qld (BSQ)

  • 6 staff members
  • Hundreds of volunteers
  • Over 1600 types of Scriptures (in print, audio, dvd and mp3)
  • 65,000 students visited by Schools Worker each year
  • Over 700,000 Scriptures distributed in QLD in the past 5 years
  • Over $2.2 million raised nation-wide for overseas projects in past 5 years
  • 1500 Queensland churches connected with Bible Society
  • Partnered with SU Qld, Red Frogs and Youth Alive
